Beautiful, Practical Pottery

Recently I've been learning all about pottery from my good friend Al Price at Hecate farm Pottery in Armstrong BC. It was his brilliant idea to have experienced artists paint underglazes on pieces he had made. In fact, most of the pieces I have displayed here were made by him and painted by me.

I absolutely love how practical the pottery is. From plates and mugs to vases and serving bowls, it's a simple way to add a bit of beauty into your daily life.

If you fall in love with a piece you see displayed here you can request something similar.

I'm a mixed media artist living in the North Okanagan with my happy little family. I originally learned to paint from my grandma Etta when I was very young. I got my start with watercolour and found great joy in playing with graphite, acrylic and even coffee, tea and ink.

I've been a director with my local arts council for 5 years.

I occasionally teach art, mostly kids classes, but have been convinced to lead a few art and wine classes as well.
